The official website of Studio Ghibli announced on Tuesday that Hayao Miyazaki's Kimitachi wa Dou Ikiru ka (How Do You Live?) anime movie will open in Japanese theaters on July 14, 2023, revealing a visual (pictured). Miyazaki (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, Howl no Ugoku Shiro) is handling the direction and screenplay. Studio Ghibli is producing the anime movie. The anime movie is inspired by Genzaburou Yoshino's Kimitachi wa Dou Ikiru ka (How Do You Live?) drama slice of life novel published in 1937. Shouichi Haga drew a manga adaptation, which was published by Magazine House in August 2017. Miyazaki, who originally announced his retirement from feature-length movies in September 2013, began work on the film in July 2016. Source: Comic Natalie
